First Day of School; Part 2!!

Here's how Eric's first day went. So right after I got back from taking Emily, I made some coffee and woke Eric up. This was around 7:55, so homeschool started at 8:00. I have to admit, homeschooling isn't easy, even after all those stupid learner's videos I had to watch. But we got through it! Eric loves it. Every hour or so he would say, "Thank you for homeschooling me, Mom, I love you." His teacher called, and she seemed nice. She talked to Eric, too, but he kept saying how he liked to play video games. The teacher goes, "That's an after school activity!" and I had to tell her that he's not that into talking on the phone.
The day went by fast, probably because I actually had something to do. It's still a little confusing, but I like it.

First Day of School

Thank goodness school started! Except, I really didn't miss waking up early, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? But anyway, I got up around 5:30-ish. I went upstairs to get Emily up and dressed. I straightened her hair the day before, and she looked so pretty. I could tell she was excited, but she acted like everything was cool. Ah, teenagers. We got out the door around 7:15. As we were walking from school, I saw a bunch of people getting pulled over because they forgot that the speed limit was 15 now that school is in session. That would have been me.
I took Apollo on a walk, because he needed one really bad. It was funny, because all these people were afraid of him, but he's afraid of cars. Inside he's really a scaredy-cat. There were other people walking their dogs too, and it made me realize that I love Apollo. The other dogs were barking and snarling.
When we got to the school, I asked Emily if she was going to kiss me goodbye, and she said, "No, I'll just give you a hug. I'm 13," and I said, "Ew. don't remind me." I said bye, and she was off.

I Hate Bugs!

Today I can hardly think of anything at all but my bug bites! Itchy, Itchy.
I must be allergic to these El Paso bugs.

Army Men Who Can't Swim

Today was pool day.  We went to the pool.  The pool was cool.  Until the PT guys came.  Then it got really crowded, and they hogged all the kids' life vests.  I should have got a picture of the bear man, but he'd probably have thought I liked him.  He was very hairy.

Helen, Bethany, and I waited anxiously for pool breaks, so all the kids would get out, and we could arobicize  in the water!  We bounced back and forth, avoiding all the cat calls.  Another day at the pool, successful.
